I am not a real estate photographer. But when we suddenly bought a new house and had to put our own apartment on the market, I decided to take the pictures myself.

Photographing your own home is a strange experience. It’s a process of saying goodbye to a place I love and hold so many fond memories from, while simultaneously trying to make it look its absolute best for the next owners.

Real estate photography is inherently different from architectural and interior photography. It’s a high-volume, fast-paced industry where the goal is often to show everything in every frame, which can make capturing the actual feeling and story of a space a challenge.

I have immense respect for the good real estate photographers out there who manage to strike that balance—capturing inspiring, soulful shots while maintaining the speed this line of work requires.

I wanted to capture the light, the atmosphere, the flow between the open spaces, and the playground in the garden that made this place a home for us.

The full series is now live, and the link to the official listing is in my bio. I hope the next owners will love this space just as much as we have!

Terminals in Pipavav and Kandla, Gujarat.Photographed for

With the current volatility in the global energy market, seeing India’s LPG distribution system firsthand hits differently. These ports are where essential energy hits land before being pumped through the veins of India via road and rail.

Ever since I saw my first one I loved Indian trucks. Comparing to the sterile trailers transporting goods in Europe, the hand painted Indian ones are rolling pieces of art and a huge tribution to road culture.

As a photographer, the camera is often more than just a tool; it’s a ticket that grants you access to places and experiences you otherwise would never have encountered.

One of my absolute highlights of 2025 was working for AVTL in India.

I was invited by to create new imagery for their rebranding of AVTL, a company specializing in smart storage solutions. Their terminals store edible oils, chemicals, LPG, and other liquids, distributing them across the entirety of India.

Being part of this transformation has been an incredible process. But what lingers most is the greatest gift photography offers: the opportunity to portray a reality for others to see. From the perspective of a Norwegian photographer, everything in India was both exotic and different, and we were welcomed with a warmth and pride that was truly inspiring.

A huge thank you to everyone who made this adventure possible! 🇮🇳📸

Zaptec is quickly becoming a global leader in EV charging, and it’s been a privilege to be a part of their journey!

The brief I received for this shoot was to portray their technology as a natural extension of the home. I focused on capturing the charger within the flow of daily life—evoking an «invisible owner» present in the atmosphere, just out of frame.

The sleek cover of the Zaptec Go 2 hides a technologically advanced and aesthetically pleasing inside. It features smart solar integration and is fully V2G (Vehicle-to-Grid) ready, allowing your car to power your home.

For Disegno Journal #40, I collaborated with the wonderful Jonas Ravlo Stokke () to create a series of photographs for his project, Off The Shelf (OTS).

Disegno’s overall theme for the issue is stories about freedom and design.

OTS is a project that imagines design ideas shared as recipes in a cookbook, rather than the standard way of mass-producing and selling products by brands. The recipes are for «products» you can easily make yourself, using standard components available from maritime suppliers, hardware stores, and industrial catalogs. As with a recipe, you can also modify the design to suit your specific needs.

Check out the issue at: https://disegnojournal.com/newsfeed/disegno-40-freedom, and make sure to subscribe to the printed version of Disegno Journal if you are interested in new and inspiring ideas within the worlds of design and photography, as it is a great magazine.

I’ve been lucky enough to photograph quite a few amazing projects for Hamran Snekkerverksted over the past year. Hamran is a family-owned business with roots dating back to 1930, and in recent years, they’ve built a strong brand known for using top-quality materials and timeless design.

This cabin near Lyngdal was designed by , with interiors from Hamran throughout. One cool feature is the sliding kitchen island, which opens up to reveal a staircase leading down to the basement.

Private house in Husvik, Tønsberg - designed by .architects

With gorgeous ocean views, this house is like a frame with douglas fir inside and out. This gives a very robust and airy feel, and crossing from the inside to the outside of the house seems almost unnoticeable

Images shot for Torghatten, a ferry company, originating from Brønnøysund with roots back to 1878.

This was such a dream job - traveling with ferries all over Norway to discover life where the roads are on the water.
