Step into the charming world of Sergei Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf. A musical tale where every character gets their very own theme song and absolutely no one questions why a duck can out-sass an entire orchestra. Written to introduce kids to classical instruments, this piece is basically the original “meet the cast” soundtrack…but with more feathers, fur, and near-disasters.

Meet Peter: a fearless kid who ignores ALL adult advice, especially his grandfather’s “don’t go into the meadow” speech. Naturally, Peter goes into the meadow. Naturally, a wolf appears. And naturally, things get chaotic very fast.

The bird flaps around like it just had three espressos.
The duck quacks indignantly through life.
The cat tries to look cool but spends most of the time climbing trees.
Grandpa complains loudly because honestly, someone has to.
And the wolf? He’s just hungry. That’s it. No symbolism. Just vibes.

Here’s a fun tidbit: Prokofiev composed Peter and the Wolf in just a few weeks because the children’s theater that commissioned it needed something fast. The result? One of the most iconic musical stories ever created. Each instrument becomes a character: the flute birds, the oboe ducks, the bassoon grandpas, and the horns… well, the wolf definitely got the dramatic soundtrack he deserved.

The best part? Despite all the danger, Peter saves the day without anyone needing superhero powers, just clever thinking, teamwork, and a very long rope.

It’s adventurous, it’s adorable, and it’s basically a musical cartoon long before cartoons even had sound.

One of those days.

Thank you all so much for the wonderful birthday wishes on July 14th! It’s been a bit of a whirlwind weekend, and I haven’t had the chance to reply to everyone just yet. This birthday has been one of the most special ones for me. Second only to the year my son was born just a day after my own birthday.
This year brought an extra surprise: we decided to get married!
With our families and friends spread across Europe, organizing a big celebration where everyone could gather felt nearly impossible. So, we planned something more intimate. We invited our closest family to the west coast of Norway under the pretense of celebrating five birthdays in one week.
What they didn’t know was that just three hours before the big moment, we would appear in our wedding outfits and reveal the real reason for the gathering.
We had a truly magical day. A beautiful ceremony in Volda, followed by a lovely dinner at a cozy restaurant by the fjord, and ended the evening with a scenic boat trip to Geiranger. It was everything we hoped for and more.
We’re so excited for this new chapter and all the adventures ahead. 💛

I’ve been off social media for a while. The last couple of months have been a bit hectic with work, and I was dealing with a stubborn cold that stuck around for over a month. But summer holidays are just around the corner, which means I’ll finally have more time to post, and I’ve got some really exciting projects coming up. Stay tuned!

Thanks to .of.norway for this amazing collaboration. It took us almost a year to finally get it all together but I couldn’t be happier with the results 😊

We were so lucky to get this shot. When we were almost done for the day, I saw this cool sailboat and thought it could be so cool to take pictures there. We went there and they were doing some works before sailing to Svalbard and they were really nice and allowed us to jump literally on the boat. A bit of frightening experience but really worth it :)

We took a quick coffee break to warm up, and I couldn’t resist capturing the moment. I usually rely on artificial light in my work, but it’s amazing what natural light can do when it hits just right.

Thanks to Maja Erika and for this opportunity :)

When I planned this shoot, I wasn’t exactly sure where it would take place. I’ve been to Tromsø many times, but never really explored it with a photographer’s eye. I landed on Monday at 11, went straight to rehearsal, and then set off to scout locations. At first, nothing really stood out, until I kept walking… and found the light. Some seriously beautiful spots revealed themselves, and it all turned into a great surprise by the end of the project.
Can’t wait to share more shots soon. This is just the beginning.

Thanks a lot to and Maja Erika for all these cool pictures 😊😊😊

After months without shooting due to the Norwegian winter, I finally had the chance to create again. This time while up north in Tromsø playing with the Arctic Philharmonic just before Easter.

I used the opportunity to test my new Nikon Z6 III, both photo and video, and honestly, I couldn’t be happier. The image quality is next level, and Nikon’s partnership with RED is probably the best thing that could’ve happened. Game changer.

People making fan of Nikon… you should try it.

Big shoutout to Maja Erika from for absolutely killing it, despite the freezing conditions. Pure pro. So excited to share more from this session soon!
