Hope...Taken near a school in Myanmar, this little girl overlooks the temples at Bagan selling her wonderfully childishly drawn pictures to tourists to support her family.

There is no “best” in educational systems. There is simply environments and methods that influence the experience of the individuals within them. However, context provides understanding there is no one way to learn; an instrument, math, a version of history or opinion.

We do not understand more by being exposed to less, only diversity provides this. Diversity to people, cultures, difference and information. To develop understanding in any domain we must be willing to explore ideas, people, and ourselves. It is why we seek, it is why we search, it is why we travel.

Education is about discovery of the things we do not know, not simply affirming the things we already do.

What will recovery look like? Not health issues, but the consequent economic, and societal issues, such as trust in institutions, in each other? We seem to be more polarised in public opinion due to sophisticated propaganda driven social and main stream media. Can we restructure societies to serve a greater focus on relationships and things not measured purely by the economy? How much is a life actually worth?

Fascinating how the propagation being carried out by many of these Hoaxers, and people pushing back against the state and MSM, is almost exactly the same by many MSM outlets...yet are forwarded from obscure 'stand up for state X' pages that themselves are basically full of MSM snipets! 🤔

The only way to make the world better is to engage with it. Seek out that that which makes you uncomfortable, or you do not understand, and challenge yourself to be in that world to understand it from within. Not merely as a passenger, but as an active participant that has done onto themselves as they would ask others to do for them.

Only by a humble devotion to truth, that is willing to sacrifice any worldview or ideology to the uncompromising fire of objective reality, can we skillfully navigate through a world that is saturated with disinformation and propaganda.

Brilliant....

What an amazing 1st Zine by Linn Sc... Raw has some incredible drawings and ideas that will make you think and wonder about your own humanity, particularly at a time like this.

Loved it's graphic imagery that still maintains a softness that makes you feel both uncomfortable and intrigued. Well done Linn... Already waiting for the next one!!

Protest movements around the world are rising up and reaching out. In the streets of Santiago, young Chileans demonstrated against widespread conditions of poverty, precarity, and police brutality. Across India, millions of activists stood up to the racism and anti-Muslim violence of the Modi government. And in Lebanon, protestors have defied lockdown to demand their basic rights to food, water, healthcare, and education.

International solidarity is an important and necessary step in dismantling the institutions of racist state violence, not only in the US, but across the world.

People ARE aware...time for change... time to keep pushing! Democracy must be fought for everyday...not just in a single post... Become politically active, support REAL change, and stand up for the injustices against those that try to oppress others. End the hypereality that distracts us and pretends to tell us that everything is so great, when clearly so many are struggling. Change is possible!
