Just Occasionally, at an event like the 2026 UK Blues Federation Awards, you get to witness an unexpected star. One such star is Mimmo Cinelli, Father of The Cinelli Brothers Marco and Alessandro. Accepting the Blues Band of the Year award on behalf of his sons, Mimmo was a picture of humble pride, the joy shining from him as he received the award from Paul Jones. A true, unassuming, star and a wonderful soul.

Earlier this week, myself and Aaron got together to discuss last months Rochester Rocks Festival.
What went right, and where we could make improvements - more on that later.
On the whole it seemed that most people had a fantastic time, the feedback was generally positive and the only way we could correct the things that didn't quite go to plan was to DO IT AGAIN!

So stick 20th March 2027 in your diaries as it's going to be BIGGER! Oh and for those that fancy it, we're having a Friday night pre-party on 19th which will be an intimate ticketed event in a very cool venue in Rochester.
