I have now published a new Hardanger portfolio on tunliweb.no.

The page brings together images from one of Norway’s most distinctive fjord landscapes: fruit blossom and apple orchards around Lofthus, quiet villages by the Hardangerfjord, and glacier landscapes connected to Folgefonna, Bondhusbreen and Buarbreen.

Hardanger is shown not only as a dramatic fjord landscape, but also as a cultivated landscape shaped by fruit growing, changing seasons and life close to the fjord.

Some photographs stay with you long before you ever take them.

My new Journal post, Podere Belvedere at First Light, tells the story behind one of my most memorable mornings in Tuscany — an early start, a long search for the right viewpoint, drifting mist over the fields, and just a few short minutes of perfect light.

Zanzibar is often presented as a tropical island of white beaches and turquoise water. But for me, the strongest impressions came from Stone Town — its narrow streets, layered history, intense market life and the difficult legacy of the former slave trade.

This new Journal post is a personal reflection on Zanzibar’s striking contrasts, from the historic heart of Stone Town to the calm Indian Ocean coast.

No places I have visited feel as wild, remote and unforgettable as Svalbard.

This Arctic archipelago is a world of glaciers, sea ice, silent fjords and isolated settlements — a landscape shaped by light, weather and an overwhelming sense of scale. I have now published a new Svalbard gallery on tunliweb, with images from Longyearbyen, Barentsburg, Ny-Ålesund, Magdalenefjorden, Lilliehöökbreen and Tempelfjorden.
