There’s something about the forest that always brings me back to myself.
The quiet. The moss under my feet. The little creatures and bugs moseying through the leaves. The way the light filters through the trees like it has a story to tell. Nature has always felt less like a backdrop to me, and more like a feeling: grounding, wild, emotional, alive.
I think that’s why I’m so drawn to elopements.
Not because they’re trendy. Not because they’re “different.” But because at their core, they make space for people to slow down and actually feel and live their day. To breathe deeply. To hold each other close. To exchange vows with dirt under their feet and wind in their hair and tears in their eyes.
These photos feel so me because they capture the places and feelings that inspire everything I create. The forests, the mountains, the imperfect weather, the stillness, the adventure, the stories hidden in all of it.
And honestly? I don’t just want to photograph your elopement. I want to help you create a day that feels like you belong in it. Thanks for being here, friends 🌿
