I only had one hour before sunset to reach this forgotten WWII fort on Norway's rugged southern coast. As the light faded, I hurried to pitch my tent before the rain and wind arrived.

This became a quiet overnight adventure of solo camping, coastal hiking and landscape photography in one of Norway's most fascinating coastal locations. Although the weather never delivered dramatic light, I still enjoyed photographing the shoreline during blue hour and capturing a few peaceful seascapes before spending the night listening to the wind and rain.

The next morning brought more rain, coffee inside the tent, a slow breakfast and another chance to photograph the coastline before hiking back to the car.

Sometimes landscape photography isn't about perfect conditions—it's about enjoying the journey, exploring new places and making the most of whatever nature gives you.
