Nå er det ikke lenge før man kan begynne å jobbe med kongeørna i igjen :)
Har du også lyst til å ta bilder av kongeørn? På fjellet i Rendalen med flott utsikt står et fotoskjul klar for besøk. Mange spente fotografer har booket et opphold, men det er fortsatt en del ledige dager og helger i vinter.

Teleconverters are a helpful piece of gear to extend the reach of your lens. Prime lenses are in most cases the best lenses to use with teleconverters as primes are normally sharper than zoom lenses. The drawback is that teleconverters tends to soften the image in addition to the fact that you will loose a step or two of light (depending on the magnification of the converter). Also the autofocus tends to slow down.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
To make a long story short: I have to admit that I have always been a bit skeptical to teleconverters. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Because of all these factors, I was very excited when I tried out the 300mm with the MC 14 teleconverter (1.4x magnification). How would it perform?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The result was way above what I expected. The AF was fast and accurate and the images of this Eurasian jay turned out to be tack sharp!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
From now on teleconverters will always have a place in my photo bag!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I had planned for this shot with the great tit...⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The problem was that the birds just landed for a split second on the branch before they flew off again. I always was too slow.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Then when I switched pro-capture and also I programmed the memory button on the lens with focus on the branch. That helped me to finally get the shot I wanted. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Here the other day I thought saw a movement out in the field outside my office window at home. When I looked closer I saw nothing. I scanned the field certain that I had seen something. Nothing... Then suddenly a movement again and there she was. So well camoflaged in the dead fireweed....⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Sammen med Topp Afrika satser jeg på at alle gode ting er 3 og har derfor satt opp en ny workshop i Masai Mara i Kenya til neste år igjen!
Tidspunktet er lagt til da gnuvandringen i området statistisk sett er på topp.
I tillegg til hele 4 dager i Masai Mara er det også lagt inn en dag med båtsafari på Lake Nivasha for bla å fotografere flodhester samt en fotosafari til fots på Cresecent Island.
