Holy moly, what an experience! 🤯🥰

I have never seen orcas before, and I definitely never imagined my first encounter would be with orcas swimming beneath the midnight sun. Absolutely unreal. I'm honestly speechless.

One of those moments that doesn't quite feel real until you're standing there watching it happen. 🫍✨

Fifteen years ago, I decided to emigrate from Berlin to the small village of Aldersundet in northern Norway. Time flies, and I haven't regretted it for a second. Exploring the wonderful Grønsvik coastal fort. A lot of tunnels and barracks to explore. The place is like a maze in the middle of that mountain. Get more information at the Museum which is open during the summer months.

Something truly extraordinary happened this Northern Light season, and I’ve been holding onto the pictures until now! 😱❤️
I’ve witnessed the dancing greens countless times, and even caught glimpses of purple—but never, ever RED. 🔴✨ Red Northern Lights are an incredibly rare phenomenon, occurring only during intense solar activity when particles hit oxygen at much higher altitudes.
Seeing the sky catch fire like this was a once-in-a-lifetime moment that I’ll never forget. Nature truly saved the best for last! 🌌🔥

Olvikvatne in a beautiful mix of sunlight, fog and rain. This old house is located in such a sweet spot. Passed it so many times and every time this is a lovely scenery. The picture made it even to the national evening news' weather forecast. 🥰

Langfredagsfjæra (Good Friday Low tide)

A Norwegian tradition: Families/People gather on the beach to walk on the low tide beaches to find sea creatures like crabs, butterfish, shells, sea anemone, starfishes and so on and on. Usually they catch them in buckets or plastic containers, so you have some time to look at it and release it again after a short period of time. Often people have a bonfire on the beach and have some hotdogs and varm beverages. Quite cozy tradition. Do you have something like this in your country?
