Fog bow
Some information about fog bows from Wikipedia:
“A fog bow, sometimes called a white rainbow, is a similar phenomenon to a rainbow; however, as its name suggests, it appears as a bow in fog rather than rain. Because of the very small size of water droplets that cause fog, the fog bow has only very weak colors. The colors fade due to being smeared out by the diffraction effect of the smaller droplets.”

Posing
After having a snack on a very warm summer evening this young brown bear (Ursus arctos) decided to take a short nap just outside the hide I was sitting in. It looked like it was posing for me when it was working on finding a comfortable position to rest in.

In the rain
This picture is taken on the same trip to Dalen Villmarkssenter as yesterday’s photo. This sparrowhawk (Accipiter nisus) sitting in the rain looking for the opportunity to attack a jay that might not pay as good attention as it should.

Spotted nutcracker

Wolf and grouses
