Growing up I had older siblings, but they all moved out not long after I was born. The family dog, Robin the Bearded Collie, stepped into the role of my “older brother”, and I have loved dogs ever since. In recent years I have become very fascinated by different dog breeds and more specifically the larger ones. I started photographing the Irish Wolfhound a few years back and decided that I wanted
to elaborate on this and work with a variety of different breeds. I tend to look for people that will compliment the breed I’m working with and then find a location based on this. Taking pictures of dogs has become a passion of mine, and as a freelance photographer it’s important to have a project like this to keep me creatively active on my own terms.
