Digital novelle for elever som handler om DNA-analyser brukt i politietterforskning og rettsvesen 🧬🕵️‍♀️

Er du en lærer på ungdoms- eller videregående skole? Hjelp oss med å teste vårt nye pedagogiske spill om DNA-analyse.

Vitenparken Campus Ås har i samarbeid med Bioteknologirådet utviklet et dataspill/digital fortelling for elever som omhandler DNA-analyser brukt i politietterforskning og rettsvesen, og vi leter etter skoleklasser som kan teste spillet vårt. Testperioden er i april 2024.

Elevene spiller gjennom en spennende historie om etterforskningen av et drap. En politietterforsker, en rettstekniker og en rettsgenetiker, med sine ulike roller, bidrar til å løse saken sammen.

Læringsmålene i spillet inkluderer blant annet:
🧬Hva er DNA, og hva kan det fortelle oss?
🧬Hvordan utføres DNA-analyser i politiet?
🧬Hvilke etiske utfordringer er knyttet til bruk av DNA i politietterforskning?
🧬Hvordan setter loven og samfunnet rammer for politiets bruk av DNA.

Målgruppen er omtrent 9. klasse ungdomsskole til VG1/VG2. Spillet er relevant for flere kompetansemål, blant annet innenfor naturfag og samfunnsfag.

De som skal teste spillet kan enten gjøre dette på Vitenparken sammen med andre skoleopplegg her, eller få tilsendt en lenke på e-post med spillet og et spørreskjema og gjennomføre testingen i klasserommet på skolen.

Here comes the Pizza Train! 🍕🌍🌱🥬🍆🥕🧀

Pizza Train (Pizzatoget) is an educational video-game installation where you explore everyday food dilemmas and the power of choices you have as a consumer. As you are busy making your own delicious pizza with a wide choice of ingredients, you are also faced with considerations about healthy eating, responsible food production and avoiding food waste.

The pizza-baking simulator is popular among children and adults, and is a great example of gamification of the educational process. Inspire and educate about sustainability with Inspire to Action. 💥

The Roaring Recycler (Brølepanteren) is one of our most popular installations.

Ever wondered how much energy a single plastic bottle contains? ♻️

In The Roaring Recycler, you get to experience just how much, by running inside a giant wheel! When you ́ve used energy equivalent to the energy spared by recycling a single plastic bottle, the Roaring Recycler will let you know. The more you run, the more bottles you’ve recycled, and the more energy and CO2 you will save.

This engaging installation raises awareness about recycling and circular economy by turning the concept of recycling into a tangible physical experience.

One of the versions is available at the science and experience centre Vitenparken Campus Ås (located in greater Oslo region). Drop by to try it out!

🌎🌱 Our Sustainability Game is available in a variety of different versions and sizes; from a large-scale installation played with cubes large enough to sit on, to a board game with dice-sized cubes. The game is fun for all ages!

Do you know all seventeen of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals? In this collaborative game, you work with friends to place cubes representing the Sustainability Goals on the board before the time runs out. The games are played through integration in our Xplore App.
