There are some people who carry warmth so naturally, you can feel it the moment you step into their space.

I met Anette on the Lofoten Islands, one of those souls everyone seems to know, and for a reason. She has this quiet, genuine kindness that stays with you long after. When her pappa came to visit her in Lofoten, I noticed him almost instantly. There was something about his presence what inspired me and I knew, without overthinking, that there was a story worth capturing.

We didn’t have much time before he left, but we managed to meet one morning for breakfast and in that gentle light we did small photoshoot. No pressure, no posing - just them, being together :) The kind of connection you don’t need to direct.

These are the images I had in my head the moment I saw them together - filled with that simple, honest warmth they give to the world so effortlessly.

I’m really grateful I got to witness and document a small piece of it.

✨Black and white photos have something special about them, but at the same time, I love colors so much that I can’t give them up. I enjoy creating a special color atmosphere in my photos, and often, even while taking the picture, I already have an idea of what the final effect will be once the photo is developed into a jpg. Nonetheless, when delivering the finished photos, some of them are provided in both versions—black and white and color.

✨dziś czarno biało. Czarnobiałe zdjęcia mają w sobie coś specjalnego, ale jednoczenie tak bardzo kocham kolory, że nie umiem z nich rezygnować. Lubię nadawać specjalny klimat barwny na zdjęciach, często już w trakcie robienia zdjęć mam wyobrażenie jaki będzie efekt finalny po wywołaniu zdjęcia do jpg. Niemniej oddając gotowe zdjęcia, część z nich jest w dwóch wersjach bw i kolor :)

A jakie Ty wolisz? BW czy kolor?
