A wonderful day filled with love and laughter, made even more special by the presence of the families adorable dog, Sully. It was an honor to be part of their special day and capture those precious memories.

Witnessing people marry the love of their life and documenting those moments is both the best feeling and the best part of the job. I'm forever grateful that my couples trust me to be a part of such an important day in their lives.

Sun Voyager Sculpture with The Imagine Peace Tower lit in the backgrounds

The Imagine Peace Tower is a memorial to John Lennon, created by his widow, Yoko Ono, near Reykjavík, Iceland. Installed in 2007, it consists of a tall beam of light projected from a white stone monument with the words “Imagine Peace” carved in 24 languages.

The tower is lit on a handful of dates, such as from October 9th (Lennon’s birthday) to December 8th (the date of his death), and also on 18th February (Yoko’s birthday). During these times, you can see the tall tower of light shinning in the sky from the Sun Voyager Sculpture.

I have been very fortunate to see it lit, and must admit it is an incredible sight. Have you ever been lucky enough to see it lit?
