Peonies became all time favourites of mine long before instagram craze. This is the time to head to the local market and buy them in a variety of sizes and colors. Shooting these beauties today, so more gorgeousness to follow!

Yesterday I had an amazing day. For 12 hours in a row I was a student of a very patient teacher and great photographer - Ray van der Steen. My computer is finally color managed, Lightroom process restructured and on top of all I got a nice camera and lens to play with and a book to read in the son. Made my day!

Pauline Koster is one of the 3 best teachers of Dutch of 2016 in Benelux. She undertakes everything with a true passion - be it doing research on teaching kids with special needs, rowing or helping her friends moving houses. I am always amazed when one person has so much energy and talents. And on top of all she is just a gorgeous woman with a mesmerizing smile that I had an honour to photograph last year.

Happy New Year! I wish you to make a lot of photos: selfies or professional portraits - it doesn't matter. Exist in photographs for yourself and your dear and near, remember the joyful moments of the past and plan for the great future ahead.

How did #2016 treat you? Mine was pretty challenging... But hey, if it was easy it would be easy :) I am happy that I had so many chances to photograph beautiful people, tasty food and gorgeous flowers! Keep it coming!

is the time when supermarkets are either crazy or closed, so I usually stay at home and make my favourite "cook-something-from-nothing" recepies. Today is how I call it "A xmas cracker" - the recepie of Simon Hopkins - parmesan biscuits. I added smoked seasamy seeds though for decoration. !

My best friend lives kilometers away from me and I don't see her often. At least I managed to persuade her to pose for me so that I can always have her near in photos :)
