POV: Your kids get to make a mess and you get photos to keep forever.

Christmas cookie baking, little hands covered in flour and a lot of laughter. That’s what this mom and daughter got up to during their storytelling photoshoot at home.

We baked, decorated cookies and had a few messy moments along the way. Of course, I gave them a little direction when needed, but I also let them get caught up in what they were doing together.

That’s what I love about storytelling photoshoots. You don’t have to stand in front of the camera wondering what to do. We plan an activity your family enjoys and turn it into a photoshoot while you spend time together.

And at Christmas, you don’t even have to worry about the Dutch winter weather. We can make lovely photos right in your own home.

Some families just make you feel at home the moment you walk through the door.

I drove to Bussum for this newborn session and spent the morning with a family who were so relaxed and easygoing. No rushing around, no need to have everything perfectly organised. Just time together at home with their newest little addition.

This is one of my favourite things about at-home newborn photography. You don’t have to pack the nappy bag, get everyone into the car or worry about leaving the house with a new born baby. I come to you and we work around your family’s pace.
