Had a blast photographing Roy Wood Jr before his (hilarious) show at Boom Chicago this August!

You might know him from The Daily Show, his CNN show Have I Got News For You US, hosting the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, or his new memoir The Man of Many Fathers.

His Lonely Flowers show on Hulu is also definitely worth watching. In case you already have: luckily I’m not as lonely as Dion, but this shoot did make my day. 😉

Such a great guy and an absolute pleasure to photograph. 📸

Special thanks to chinenye onyeike for a great collaboration!

You might recognize this guy... 👀

Before stepping on stage for one of his three sold-out shows in Amsterdam, I had the chance to shoot some portraits of Josh Johnson

You might know him as one of the rotating hosts of The Daily Show, or from his weekly stand-up sets on YouTube.

My personal favorite? His step-by-step breakdown of the Kendrick Lamar / Drake feud in 2024, somehow turning one of the biggest moments in hip hop into one of the funniest comedy bits I’ve ever seen. 🤣

Great meeting you, Josh, and thanks for making time before the show!

Time for football! 🏈

Laat het me weten!

Inês recently joined Brainboss, and I had the pleasure of welcoming her to the studio for her new headshots.

We had a great session, lots of laughs, and she even turned the tables by giving me some feedback on my own profile picture. According to her, I look a lot more serious (maybe even slightly angry!) than I actually am… and honestly, she might have a point.

So instead of taking yet another studio selfie, it’s probably time I practice what I preach and step in front of someone else’s camera. Because getting a natural, genuine smile out of yourself? That’s harder than it looks. 😉

If you’ve been thinking about updating your own profile photo, maybe this is your sign.
