Hundreds of locks hang from rusted bars, each one carrying a promise, a memory, or a story.
A quiet, almost desperate attempt to make something last.
Yet the sea behind them doesn't hold on to anything.
It simply moves forward.

Somewhere in Italy, I looked up and pressed the shutter.
I don't remember where.
I don't remember when.
I only remember the camera.

Film has a way of surprising you. Sometimes the frames you almost discard become the ones you keep returning to.

At first, I thought it was a mistake. But the warm glow, the grain, and the imperfections somehow belong to this moment.

Somewhere between the candles and the darkness, light found its way onto the film in a way I never intended.

Nothing about this moment was still.
The wind kept pulling, the sea kept crashing,
waves rising and falling without ever finding rest....yet the light softened everything it touched.
My friend and I were the only ones on the terrace, sipping our beers in the howling wind while everyone else hid inside from the cold. The locals probably thought we were completely crazy

It’s the kind of frame where distance creates calm, but color creates focus and somewhere in between, the story finds it...
