I’ve saw this beautifull little bird and I was quitte impressed. This little bird climbs along the rocks like a maniac. This little bird is a Wallcreeper (Tichodroma muraria).

Unfortuanatly this Pallas cat and his female has been put down to sleep. They sufferd for years to a chronic airway infection that caused the lost of his eye some years ago. Every year the infection was getting more intense so they made the thoughest descission a Zoo can make.

This beautifull indian Rhino lives now in Dierenrijk, Nuenen, Netherlands. She moved with another female from Berlin, Germany to this brand new enclosure.

A crowned sifaka (Propithecus coronatus) was born in Apenheul at the beginning of this year. Shortly after the winter closure I was the lucky one to take this photo. Did you notice the long white hair on his nose? Picture shot in Apenheul, Apeldoorn, netherlands.

This Incastern (Larosterna inca) posed nicely in the sun and was therefore perfect for photographing. The Incasterns share their exhibit with black foot penguins and some duck species. Naturzoo Rheine, Rheine, Germany.

3-1-2018 terrazoo rheinberg.

Op 3-1-2018 ben ik naar aquazoo in dusseldorf geweest, dit aquarium is jarenlang dicht geweest voor een grote renovatie. Voor de renovatie ben ik er nooit geweest dus hoe de situatie toen was weet ik niet maar als je zou zeggen dat het voor 2 miljoen gerenoveerd was in plaats van 35 miljoen zou je het ook geloven. Ondanks dat was het een leuk bezoek en heb ik genoten van de vele aquariums maar ook vele terrariums. Je hebt er ongeveer een 2 uurtjes te kijken en dan ben je er wel doorheen helaas, ik zou niet speciaal voor aquazoo alleen de rit maken maar het is prima combineerbaar met andere in de buurt gelegen parken zoals sealife oberhausen, zoo krefeld of terrazoo rheinberg bijvoorbeeld.
