My work as a filmmaker grew out of documenting ArtScience art. Innovative, interactive, the most exciting niche I could find. One that lends itself enormously to being filmed.

I took a social media break in May. But the first thing I read after logging back in is this: The ArtScience Interfaculty is being dissolved. After 35 years it's being "streamlined" — and it's exactly that resistance they're cutting away that makes this kind of art possible.

Students are now organising The Death of ArtScience Festival. It runs until June 9th in The Hague. Petition via link in bio. I stand with my maker friends, former fellow-students, and ArtScience alumni who are putting in the work to get this department back in the Academy!

One year ago I was in Tokyo for a residency where I produced a short as a result of experimenting with infrared film.
