As a natural light photographer it can be a really big challenge when you live in 24 hours per day darkness. Although I love the moodyness it gives to the photos, I am happy that we are now in 24 hours per day daylight! 😃😎

Back to normal…

As much as I love being around my children, I can’t help it to also be happy, when after two weeks, schoolholiday is over and I do not have to do a constant entertaining for my kids. 😅 We have had a lot of snowstorms the last week, so sitting inside playing games together was getting the new normal.
Now the sun is out, we are approaching 24 hours per day daylight and my energy is renewing! 😀
Making plans for this summer, as I will be in the Netherlands for some weeks. I would be able to take on a few photoshoots. So if you want to book a shoot, just write me a DM or look on my website for more info.

Sometimes I am a bit lost as a photographer. What kind of photographer am I? Currently I am doing a lot of nature photography, which is probably not so weird looking at the place I live. However I really miss people in my photos.
I would like to get more creative and challenge myself. But sometimes I simply don’t know how. So I am on a quest and any tips are more than welcome. 😊

Luckily I am flying towards my dear friend soon, which gets my creative blood flowing when we go out shooting together. 😊🙏

A few weeks ago, I had the honour to photograph a beautiful family and the baptism of their two youngest children on Svalbard.

I found it super special as I had never before photographed a baptism and it almost felt like the importance of a wedding to me. And it was! ❤️🙏

When days were still with daylight…throwback to a photoshoot with my sweet friend Meggy Linn. Which always was great fun! I got to see her grow up and capture a lot of important moments of her life. At a certain point it just came natural to her that I captured her on photo. 💛🥰
