In Oculis is a one-man team offering photo, video and audio services for classical musicians and other artists in The Hague.

My name is Nicolas, I am a Frenchy living in The Hague, Netherlands. I was educated as a classical musician since a very young age – and still pursuing a career as such ; but I also express my creativity through photography, videography and sound engineering – eventually all at the service of my first passion, music. I create portraits, music videos, recordings, promotional content, interviews, co

ncert videos and more. I am self-taught (with a bit of exterior guidance), and I have my own equipment.

Meet the ensemble: Olga Kuznetsova — baroque oboe

Olga grew up in St. Petersburg and is now based in Germany. Her musical journey began with piano before she discovered the expressive sound of the oboe and turned to historical performance.

She performs regularly in orchestra and chamber music projects across Germany, France, and the Netherlands with ensembles such as Bremer Barockorchester, Leipziger Barockorchester, Ensemble Inegal.

Olga is particularly fascinated by the diversity of historical oboes and enjoys exploring their unique sound worlds. She also has a deep curiosity for historical techniques such as cane hand gouging and staple making.

Outside of performing, she finds inspiration in early Renaissance painting and medieval sculpture.

In Amber Music Box, the baroque oboe brings a vocal, expressive quality that connects the ensemble’s sound to the human voice.

Once more Den Haag Centraal Station proved to be worth the time with its natural white light and its fantastic metal and glass structures. A nice shooting with Carlos Rivero Moreno in spite of the cold.
