Ronde van Vlaanderen U19, what a day. Way too hot, and I can assure you, that not only the riders were overheated.
But besides the maybe a bit too hot weather, it was a really nice day as I always enjoy taking pictures for the team with great riders and always good laughs with
Besides my normal photography day, I thought I’d try something new, so brought my new wide angle lens with me to give it a try, and it did not disappoint. Even though some pictures were better than others (yeah there is still a long road ahead to perfection I’m afraid) I’m really happy with the possibilities of this new lens even though there is still a lot to learn with my normal lenses. But before that I need to cool down a bit more and learn how to edit away the yellow light reflecting on the riders from that yellow podium carpet. If you have any tips on how to fix that podium glow,, let me know!
Not saying I’m all doom and gloom about my own work, but I’m also the first to admit there’s still plenty to learn 😄
Onto the next race….
