Last year, and I spent the carnival holidays in Sevilla, Spain. A little winter escape to get some fresh inspiration. Here’s a small collage of the photos I took there. Mostly shot on one of my favorite pocketable cameras, the . Which is perfect for trips like these.

This year, we chose Porto, Portugal. Less sun, but so much atmosphere. I brought three cameras, including a film one, so it’ll take a while before I can share the photos. Enjoy these for now ✨

Throwback to the good times with my guitar buddy deluxe, Menno, the maestro behind the strings for ‘Focus’! 🎸🤘

We go way back, and last year, we rocked the stage together in the Chris Cornell tribute project ‘You Know My Name’.
During those unforgettable shows, I couldn't resist capturing stills with my Canon DSLR and point & shoot cameras, and this backstage gem of Menno is a favorite! ‘Hey Menno!!’ Cliiiickkk….

Shot this self-portrait about a year ago. Actually, it’s the only time I’ve done it. I definitely should do it more often.
It constitutes good practice plus, you get a sense of what hell a model has to go through 😅

The second picture shows the setup. Camera on a tripod. One flash with a snoot to make my face look red. Another purple gelled flash on the ground, facing a white wall behind me to bounce light off of. A refined set, the simple things in life.
