Being pregnant for the first time is already such a blessing and a beautiful journey.
Being pregnant as a photographer makes it much more special to me, because now I feel everything my babymama-clients feel. Now I really understand how much life there is in their smile. It's more than just having a portrait to live by. It is the special feeling you carry for 9 months and not wanting it to go away in time.
I was lucky enough to get acquainted with about 250 other moms to be that are also due in the same month as I am. March 2016 became much more than just an expected month. It is now a system, you might even call it a family. Daily we share our journey and of course lots of complaints and some sadness, but mostly we share the beautiful moments we are all experiencing at the same time.
This wonderful group of ladies inspired me to start this project called "Bolle Buiken Maart 2016" ...Quick & easy translation: Baby Bumps March 2016.
On a Sunday 17 pregnant ladies (including myself) came together to capture a wonderful moment that will now last forever.
