Time for a quick personal update in between the work I'm sharing ❤️.⁠

Erik spent some days in Kuala Lumpur, after a month in Lombok Indonesia. And while KL was definitely (really) nice, it's Lombok that stole my heart ❤️. The people, our stay with , the waves, the weather and the food: I already miss it so much.⁠

Next up: a few days at home with family, and then a slow(ish) roadtrip to Ericeira Portugal where we're staying with our (human and animal) friends at . ⁠But first: so many delays at the airport. (Wish us luck 😜)⁠

“I am never returning to work again”

- I said to Erik, a couple of days ago, laying on the outside couch in our Lombok Villa, lazy from the warm weather, listening to some tunes and reading my books 🌞📚

That statement was never true of course, but it just felt that good to relax, after a few busy weeks.

🕐 Just 24 hours later I was back at it, for just a few hours, but with a big smile on my face while editing the spring / summer collection of ‘23 for . The days I spent with them in the Hamptons ánd on the Amalfi coast were magic, and so are the results 🤩.

Can’t wait to show you more, soon!

Hello Italy 🌞🍕🍷

I am in Rome for with my dear friend . Way up North is an international conference for wedding photographers and It’s my first time attending since I was a speaker at the event in 2019. So I get to enjoy colleagues talk about their vision, inspiration and learnings. And not in the last place: enjoy beautiful Rome 🥰

Thes weather in the Netherlands these last couple of weeks has me craving warmer climates. Like Bacalar in Mexico, where the whole town is situated around a lagoon with insanely beautiful tones of blue. ⁠

⛵ We were there last October, and the highlights for me was a sailing trip on the lake, and the food and vibes at .⁠
⁠

I told you a while ago that changes are coming. And they still are ☺️ - but I am just taking my sweet time to shape my vision and next steps within photography. ⁠

🌿 For my second NFT collection, I am taking you from cloud forests, to jungle paths, tropical beaches and so much more.⁠
⁠
This collection displays all of my absolute favorite places in Costa Rica, the country in Central America that lives by the philosophy of Pura Vida. Pura Vida translates to 'Pure life' ☀️ but the true translation is so much bigger than that. It can mean anything from 'I am doing well', to: 'seize the day' or: life is good, and anyone who has visited this country knows the beauty it possesses. Welcome to Costa Rica!⁠

🎞️ All images are shot on Fujifilm and feature high quality colors, big resolutions and a ton of love. And every NFT owner is given the right to receive a complementary fine art print of the image, shipped to their home. 10% of the revenue of this collection is donated to animal shelters and organizations in Costa Rica.⁠

🌈 Pia .arte is an amazing artist from Argentina, living in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. Her work (to me) is colorful, fun, unique and full of passion - and so is she.⁠

I got to spend a morning with her in her atelier, photographing her in this amazing place, doing the thing she loves, and creating imagery in her colorful studio amidst the lush greenery of Costa Rica. ⁠
