Photo Tour Inspiration – Day 1 Edition

What a way to start the Photo Tour 😍

This shoot was actually a little bit of a race against the weather. The forecast showed rain arriving later that evening, and with these amazing outfits, standing in a downpour wasn’t exactly part of the plan 🤪

So we made a quick decision and moved the shoot forward a little earlier in the day.

And honestly? It couldn’t have worked out better.

Beautiful afternoon light, perfect temperatures, incredible models and one of the most breathtaking locations of the entire week 🏔️

Madeleine, Brillante & Pico were an absolute dream to photograph. And just when we thought the shoot couldn’t get any better… Maddi took Brillante swimming in the mountain lake 😱✨

Moments like that are impossible to plan, but they often become the images you remember most.

What I also love about this shoot is that it perfectly captures what the Photo Tour is all about: adapting to the conditions, making the most of every opportunity and creating something magical together.

And the best part? This was only Day 1.

Before the snow arrived on Tuesday 🤣❄️

This location remains one of my absolute favourites every single year. The mountains, the lake, the atmosphere… it never gets old.

What I’m thinking during your photoshoot… while the sound in the background keeps yelling “cute, cute, cute!” 🤭

✨ “Cute.”
✨ “Oh my gosh, cute.”
✨ “That little ear forward? SO cute.”
✨ “The way your dog is looking at you right now? Cute.”
✨ “That tiny moment you didn’t even notice? Cute.”
✨ “I can already see this image printed in an album.”
✨ “Okay, I know the audio says cute, but honestly…

VERY CUTE!!!

Meanwhile, what I’m actually doing is so much more than just pressing a button.

I’m constantly watching the light, your horse’s ears, your dog’s expression, the background, your posture, your confidence and all the little details that turn a simple moment into something magical.

While everyone hears “cute” in the background, my brain is thinking:
✨ “The light is perfect.”
✨ “This composition works beautifully.”
✨ “That connection is so genuine.”
✨ “This is the shot.”

Most of the time, I’m already imagining the final image before I’ve even taken it🤣

And don’t worry if you feel nervous or think you’re awkward in front of the camera. Chances are I’m too busy admiring the light hitting your horse’s mane perfectly and secretly thinking “cute” along with the audio to notice 😉

A full week dedicated to photography, creativity, learning, connection and unforgettable experiences in the heart of the Austrian mountains.

Imagine photographing stunning dogs and horses at breathtaking locations, surrounded by crystal-clear lakes, mountain views and endless inspiration. Add a luxury stay in our Mountain Lodge Tirol, a group of like-minded photographers from around the world, portfolio-building shoots, educational sessions, goodiebags, lots of laughter and a week you’ll never forget.

And no… bookings are not open yet 😉

Not every shoot during the Austria Photo Tour takes place in the mountains… sometimes we swap alpine meadows for charming streets, historic architecture and a completely different atmosphere. 🏙️📸

And that’s exactly what made this shoot with Dajana & Anton so special😏

The city creates a whole new kind of magic. Elegant portraits, beautiful lines, unique backgrounds and moments that feel straight out of a movie scene. Combined with the connection between these two, every image felt effortless.

MY 4 MODELS OF THE CLIENT SHOOTS IN AUSTRIA 🏔️🥹✨🔥

So thankful for the last few client shoots I had in Austria after the .austria 😍 4 different breed of dogs, lovely and sweet people and amazing mornings and evenings! 2 sunrise and 2 sunsets🌄

It was a very full month due to the photo tour aswell, therefore it was a little quieter here these last days. The renovations also continued for our house what will be done (I hope!!) in August 💪🏻🥳

But the words I already received on the galeries where amazing!! 😍✨ there are some extra photos selected aswell, and that is my biggest compliment ♥️

Life is great and I’m so proud of myself ♥️

It always takes some time to look back at a new adventure I had… not because I don’t want to, but I’m always in a high enthusiastic energy where I can’t see it from the outside until later 😆

And now, back home after 3 amazing weeks in my second home country I finally can reflect and see that I can be so proud 🥰✨👏🏻

Thank you Austria for showing me again a new, exciting, thrilling and beautiful side of you! 🤍

This is how you rock a cowgirl outfit…!😱😍🔥👏🏻

Damn, what a great last shoot we had during the third photo tour I organized for horse and dog photographers ☺️🤍 We didn’t had the most clear sunrise but the light we had during this shoot was something I never shoot in before🥹 So soft and quite unique I think 🥰

Can’t wait to show you more results because I already have seen soooo many great shots that I almost couldn’t choose for the first picture…
