Arrr! Full speed ahead! 🏴‍☠️
KNRM rescue boat. Full speed. Any resemblance to actual pirates is purely coincidental. 😇

Keep on turning 😵‍💫🎡

Samen met Klaus Lucas in de stromende regen. Uiteraard.

From first contact to maximum eclipse — 90.4% of the Sun covered above Rotterdam.

I photographed the entire sequence from the Wilhelminakade, surrounded by people who had gathered to witness the spectacle together. Beside me, the eclipse was being broadcast live on YouTube by , while Klaus Lucas and I captured the evening through our own lenses.
The detailed eclipse and the cityscape were photographed simultaneously with two different cameras: one exposed for the Sun, the other for Rotterdam and its atmosphere.
A rare alignment in the sky—and an amazing experience shared on the ground.

Some moments are too vibrant to capture in just one frame.

Rotterdam came alive today with colour, music and incredible energy. Here are a few of my favourite moments from the Zomercarnaval 2026. 🎭✨

I have a feeling… no bookstore will ever be able to impress me again after this one. 📚✨

The Beffroi de la Chambre de Commerce de Lille glowing just after sunset — a neo-Flemish landmark rebuilt in the 1920s after World War I, standing as a symbol of the city’s resilience and commercial history.

Where land forgets itself and becomes sky 🌊

↔️Swipe through to follow the edge of the island.

The Cliffs of Moher, rising over 700 feet above the Atlantic, have stood for over 300 million years — carved by wind, water, and time.

Located along Ireland’s rugged west coast in County Clare, these sandstone and shale cliffs stretch for 14 kilometers, offering some of the most dramatic views in Irish landscapes. Mist drifts through like memory. Puffins nest in the ledges. The ocean tells an old story here.

A place where geography becomes mythology.
