Mi serie 2.0 sobre charrería: con orgullo he estado trabajando desde hace mucho tiempo en una serie sobre la hermosa cultura mexicana de este deporte nacional. La disciplina combinada con la figuratividad me ha interesado desde hace mucho y será un placer para mí continuar con esta serie.

My 2.0 series on charrería: I have been proudly working for a long time on a series about the beautiful Mexican culture of this national sport. The combination of discipline and figurativeness has interested me for a long time, and it will be a pleasure to continue this series.

Over the past three years I’ve been documenting the world of Charrería — the Mexican tradition that shaped the origins of the Texan rodeo. A culture of precision, pride and heritage. I’m especially intrigued by the tradition itself and the strong sense of figurativity expressed through the clothing.
