Art Depot Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen

It is the world’s first fully accessible art depot, and it is located at Museumpark in the centre of Rotterdam.

It houses the museum, of course, offices, retail, cultural and bar-restaurant

The reflective round surface of 15,000m² responds to its surroundings and a thing of beauty, making it a very popular € 94,000,000 selfie spot.

The Markthal (Market Hall) is an arch-like structure of 228 residential apartments and over 5,200m2 of office building spaces and a market hall underneath, located in Rotterdam. It was opened in October 2014 and has over 1000 underground car parking spaces.

The ceiling is adorned with 4000 aluminium panels of enlarged fruits, vegetables, seeds, fish, flowers, and insects.

Pictures don't do it justice - I tried 🙂 and it will be good to see "the Sistine Chapel of Rotterdam" one day.

Cube Houses
The Kijk-Kubus museum house

The cube houses are all linked together and overlap to create a unique façade.

It certainly doesn't look, seem, or feel normal, but definitely, a work of art, or? 🤷🏾‍♂️

The windmills at Kinderdijk in the Netherlands are part of a UNESCO World Heritage site. They are functional and maintained in working order. They serve as a backup system for the current electric pumps in case of power failures. Some of the windmills are also inhabited by locals. They were built around 1740, with some dating slightly earlier or later.
