My curiosity brought me back to BIRD in Rotterdam to experience more of the fusion scene that keeps pushing this city forward.

What a night.

Nishankh absolutely shook me with his exceptional talent. The level of musicality, expression, and control he brought to every note was incredible—honestly a 10/10.

But what struck me most was the conversation happening on stage. When musicians truly listen and respond to one another, that’s when the magic happens. This is what making music together is really about.

Moments like this are why I keep coming back to live music: discovering artists who remind you how powerful, inspiring, and human musicianship can be.
