Depictaè

Depictaè We believe everyone must travel! It helps us to learn about ourselves and the world around us. Travel is in our DNA!

Our goal is to help people, to show the world through our videos and experience the joy of exploration for those who can and cannot travel the world. Because I believe this builds a kinder, more inclusive, and more open-minded world. Indeed, even we lose our body, our soul fly around the universe. I believe travel opens the door to the greatest, most unforgettable experiences life can offer. And w

e have learned that the best part of travelling is about putting yourself out there, about leaving behind the everyday, about immersing yourself, rather than just seeing the sights. As travellers, you're on a journey, and at Lonely Planet far away from other worlds, we are on one, too. Over the past few years, travel has transformed. We're thinking deeply not just about how we travel but why we travel and how to best serve our experience toward you.

👞 The Slippers of Marrakech

Walk through the souks of Marrakech and you’ll quickly notice them — rows upon rows of colourful **babouches**, Morocco’s traditional leather slippers.

Handcrafted by local artisans, they come in almost every colour and style imaginable. The reason they look so wonderfully chaotic? In the narrow souks, shops often display their entire collection outside, turning the streets into a sea of leather, colour, and patterns.

It may look chaotic… but somehow, that’s part of the charm of Marrakech. 🇲🇦✨

Koutoubia Mosque 🕌 | Marrakech, Morocco 🇲🇦

Standing proudly in the heart of Marrakech, the Koutoubia Mosque is one of the city’s most iconic landmarks. Built in the 12th century, its famous minaret has become a symbol of Marrakech and an important example of Almohad architecture.

The mosque is still an active place of worship, so non-Muslim visitors cannot enter the interior. However, you can admire its beautiful architecture and minaret from the surrounding gardens and streets—a true symbol of the Red City. 🇲🇦✨

Interesting Facts About Jellyfish? 🪼

1. Older than dinosaurs 🦖
Jellyfish have lived on Earth for more than 500 million years. They were already drifting through the oceans hundreds of millions of years before the first dinosaurs appeared.

2. No brain, heart, or bones 🧠
Despite having no brain, heart, or skeleton, jellyfish can still sense light, detect touch, and respond to their surroundings using a simple network of nerves.

3. Almost entirely made of water 💧
A jellyfish is 95–98% water, which makes it lightweight and nearly transparent. This also helps it blend into the ocean.

4. The “immortal” jellyfish ♻️
Turritopsis dohrnii can reverse its life cycle by changing from an adult back into a juvenile stage. While it isn’t truly immortal, this remarkable ability could allow it to avoid dying from old age under the right conditions.

5. They can glow in the dark ✨
Many deep-sea jellyfish produce their own light through bioluminescence. They use this glow to attract prey, communicate, or confuse predators.

6. They helped revolutionize science 🔬
A glowing protein discovered in jellyfish, called Green Fluorescent Protein (GFP), is now used by scientists worldwide to study cells, cancer, and brain function.

7. They survive where many animals can’t 🌍
Jellyfish have survived multiple mass extinctions and can live in waters ranging from shallow tropical seas to the deepest parts of the ocean, making them one of the planet’s most resilient animals.

8. They don’t chase their food 🌊
Most jellyfish simply drift with ocean currents. When small fish or plankton touch their tentacles, the stinging cells instantly capture them.

Tiergarten Schönbrunn, also known as Vienna Zoo 🇦🇹, is the world’s oldest zoo still operating on its original site. It is located inside the gardens of Schönbrunn Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The zoo combines history, nature, and modern conservation. Visitors can see more than 700 animal species, including giant pandas, elephants, polar bears, orangutans, lions, and many rare or endangered animals. Its historic imperial architecture makes it different from many modern zoos — you can walk through beautifully designed areas while learning about wildlife protection and biodiversity.
