We couldn’t speak the same language, yet somehow, we didn’t need to.

From Stockholm to Vienna, Morocco to Saudi Arabia, strangers have stopped me and asked me to take their pictures. Perhaps, as an introvert, I will never fully understand this impulse. Yet, I find it fascinating. These unexpected encounters become little dots of experience and memory that I carry with me from every journey. Perhaps curiosity is simply part of being human.

A soul I happened to cross paths with in Jeddah, with his natural smile and prayer beads in hand, reminded me of something beautifully simple: beneath all our differences, we are still human beings, looking to connect, to be seen, and to leave a little trace of ourselves in someone else’s memories. 🤍

By growing, I lost some important moments in my life.

Maybe they were never meant to happen.
Or maybe I simply avoided them on purpose.

I like to move.

I have never really stayed in one place, or held on to one person, for too long. Every new acquaintance becomes another memory. Sometimes I tell people I will meet them again, knowing somewhere inside that I probably never will.

For me, the moment is now.

Just the present.

I have never been very good at holding on to people or things. Maybe that is why leaving has always felt strangely familiar.

There is always something beyond the next road that makes me wonder.

What is there?
Who lives there?
What do they eat?
What do they believe?
What does the morning feel like in a place I have never seen?

Maybe I am simply curious about life itself.

A road disappearing into the distance.
A new city waking up before I do.
A language I don’t understand.
A sunset I know I will never see in quite the same way again.

I like to feel it.

To feel the world.
To smell the air, the streets, the people.
To listen before I understand.
To discover before I judge.

To collect sunsets instead of things.
Memories instead of possessions.
Stories instead of answers.

And perhaps, one day, when I look back,
I won’t remember every place I visited.

But I will remember how each one made me feel.

Maybe that is what traveling has always been for me.

Not finding a place to belong.

But following that little curiosity inside me,
wherever it decides to take me.

And discovering how many places can make the heart feel alive.

An unforgettable afternoon in the Agafay Desert. 🌅🐪

Surrounded by the rocky desert landscape outside Marrakech, the afternoon slowly turned into an unforgettable evening. We watched the sun disappear over the horizon while enjoying a traditional Moroccan dinner under the open sky.

As night fell, Moroccan music and dancing brought the evening to life, followed by fireworks lighting up the desert.

A beautiful reminder that sometimes the most memorable travel moments are simply about good food, music, people, and watching the sunset in a place you’ll never forget. 🇲🇦✨
