That meow on the way home says it all… 😭😹

June had quite the vet day today. She got her yearly vaccination. We also had her blood pressure checked, which we monitor because she has high blood pressure and takes medication for it. Luckily, her blood pressure is still nicely under control with her pills, so we don’t have to check it again for another six months.

I originally went in because of some little wounds under her chin and it turns out she has feline acne, so we’ll be keeping a close eye on that.

She had also lost a little weight, which isn’t surprising because she’s not exactly a fan of her kidney diet. 🙈 So for now, the plan is to make sure she eats properly by switching her back to her old food for a bit and then trying out some other kidney friendly options to find something she actually likes.

And because apparently one vet problem wasn’t enough… she also developed an inflamed eye a couple of days ago, so we came home with eye drops too. 😅

Safe to say, June was VERY ready to go home. And judging by that meow, she had quite a lot to say about her day. 🤭
