Father's Day always brings a mix of emotions for me.
I lost my dad suddenly.
In the years that followed, one of the things that helped me heal was looking through our family photographs.
Those images became more than pictures. They became reminders of moments we'd shared, stories we'd lived, and a connection to someone I missed deeply.
What I've come to realise is that the photographs we value most are rarely the perfect ones. They're the everyday moments. The laughter, the cuddles, the walks, the conversations.
The moments that seem ordinary when they're happening.
One of the reasons I became a photographer is because I know how much those memories can mean years later.
This Father's Day, I'm grateful for the photographs I have of my dad and for every family who trusts me to preserve a small part of their story.
Happy Father's Day to all the dads, and to everyone carrying the memory of one ❤️
