We live close to Eindhoven but we came here to Maastricht to celebrate a "Bachelor Party"
Due to the Covid regulations and restriction is not that easy to travel and do the typical funny things that are expected for this occasion
We wanted to go to Italy
Maastricht is so close to the border with Belgium and Germany, it gives us the feeling we are abroad, the atmosphere is international too, so we knew was the perfect place where to spend quality time and make nice memories
Also, he is the first one of us willing to take the step into the "next level" but we don't think many of us will follow : )
Today we are basically here to celebrate love, friendship and life

Life is not a problem to be solved, but a reality to be experienced I try to live a mindful life and enjoy each moment. We are hardwired for connection, so I love sharing most of these moments with other people
This is why I have a passion for calisthenics, which is own bodyweight training
I train often and love to move and explore what my body is capable of together with people at the calisthenics park
I started teaching and sharing my knowledge, experience and passion with people through
This year I’m planning to teach more and more, I want to become financially free and travel
Besides that, I try to do cold training on a weekly basis
I used to shower cold for 2 years in a row and I would take dips in mountain lakes when going for a climb
After reading more about the method I really wanted to take an ice bath, which I did guided by Maurick Heusschen
On the day that these pictures were taken in Maastricht Marina, I had also so much fun
It’s amazing to me what people can do when they do it together!

" is my hobby since 7 years.
Inimini is the name of my business and stands for "smaller than mini".
During summer you can find me almost every day around the city.
I like ice cream and I have learned how to make it from a professional Italian ice cream maker.
Before to do this I was a nurse, than I had 4 children and I could not work as a nurse anymore.
But actually I didn't stop to work.
When I was younger I had another hobby, to organize and plan sport events for children.
I traveled the world for many years thanks to that.
Someone was interested in the company and I sold it.
I stopped for a while and only after I started my "Inimini".
In winter I will stop driving around the city but I am still selling ice cream in some supermarkets, hospital and restaurant through small take away ice cream cups"

Sometimes you need to be occupied with projects way larger than yourself. Something which compels you and consumes you.
I came to Maastricht for my studies about three years ago after having spent the vast majority of my life exclusively in Antwerp’s Jewish community (Belgium).
Once I left this bubble, where the Holocaust is present in our lives, culture and identity, I came to Maastricht to discover the underrated treasure of this cute and international city.
During this period I noticed a kind of lack of knowledge towards modern Jewish life. It seems to me our general culture focuses mainly on Jews in the context of war, as victims during World War 2, as ruthless aggressors in the Middle East and no as contributors to European society.
Due to the fact that most Jewish people have gotten used to mask their identity for fears of the normalizing state of anti-Semitism, I've tried to assemble our representative student community in Maastricht and we became bigger as more members of our community came forward.
We also recently wanted to demonstrate a pro-active initiative launched by the Jewish student community, built on education and respect, to polish all 400+ Stolpersteine (= Stumbling stones) in Maastricht.
These stones are individual cube memorials dedicated to all victims of the Holocaust, placed in front of their former residence.
We named it the “Make Their Memory Shine” initiative ( ).
This initiative was a great success, was joined by many others, and made me think about expanding this concept to all of Europe where Stolpersteine can be found.
We now aim to clean all 75.000 Stolpersteine in Europe.
For me Maastricht is the city where I discovered myself and the international community and it is also the city that serves as the heart of the initiative.

I learned that the most difficult part of your life is yourself.
I was constantly chasing happiness and I never felt satisfied.
Last year I created a concept of a "double H" that I told myself I would follow throughout 2020.
Double H stands for "Honesty & Happiness".
It was a marathon without an end, as my levels of happiness and needs are changing constantly.
Now I learned to chase progress and that turned out to be my key to satisfaction.

I moved in here 3 years ago and even though it has been a bumpy ride, it's exactly Maastricht, where I met wonderful people, who make rainy days sunnier.
My dearest and nearest have been supporting me and my ideas, such as sewing.
Now I am following this passion and I love it.

All clothes from the photo session were made by me and I hope you can help me progress in my self-growth even more by following .
Thank you!!!

I can still remember when I came to Maastricht there was a club called Decadence (Yes! was quite a long time ago) right in front of this bridge on the side of the Maasboulevard.
I came here to live a brief experience abroad and to learn new languages.
It wasn't expected that I would have remained here as a life choice. Neither that after such a long time I'm still struggling with Dutch.
I remember my first winter here: minus 17 degrees and snow until March.
Now we barely get close to 0 degrees and this always makes me think that climate change is more real than we think.

I came to Maastricht to study a while ago, now I've finished of course.
After rugby my friends and me we were used to coming always here to drink and have fun and eventually I have also found a job.
Now during Covid we are trying to do something out in the street in order to cover some expenses and somehow still make the people feel the Christmas atmosphere.

“My grandfather, originally from Italy, came to Maastricht to work in the coal mines in the 50s.
At the age of 21, he moved to Sittard, where he met my grandmother.
I studied at the "Art Academy" here in Maastricht and I also went for an experience in Italy, Milan.
In Milan, my landlord had a dog which made me so happy!
Since I moved back to The Netherlands I was always thinking to have a dog and finally now I have decided to have one together with my twin brother and his girlfriend.
He is already part of the family and he is never alone.
His name is Alfonso and he is a mix between Shi Tzu and Maltese.
Separately they are not my favorite, but the mix is very cute!
Shi Tzu is traditionally an elite dog from Imperial China and the Royal Families always had them.
The Maltese are an ancient breed, one of several small dogs around the Mediterranean. His origin is a mystery, they say Sicily, Egypt, South Europe till Malta indeed.
My passion is product design such as furniture, lighting, but also graphic design and fine arts.
During Corona time is not that simple but I have to say that in a certain way I am appreciating this period and I am trying to make the best out of it.
People are finally thrown back to themselves to think about who they actually are and what they want in life.
I think now you have the time for this and one should wisely use it."

"Time for the last gifts before Christmas...we want to be sure we have all ready and set up before more strict restrictions will be communicated. For us, Christmas has always been special and we will try to have a special one also this year, even if it won't be allowed to spend the day with more than 3 people or so. Stay safe and strong, Merry Christmas you all!"

"Jazz is such a beauty of music.
Makes you wanna dance, cry, laugh, makes you enjoy your quality time.
All the jazz cats gettin’ around, jammin’ together at the sessions, cookin’ some delightful music together...
All was before the pandemic.
I miss those times, we all do. I guess we’re just all gonna have to wait for it.
In the remaining time, we keep shredding.
That's just what cats do"
