Someone said to me a while back that something really interesting to do as a photographer - as your skills, taste and preferences change - is to go back and edit ‘old photos’.
So today I took that advice and spent today looking through my catalog of photos from the past 2.5 years and indeed it is fascinating to see how much you learn and how you are extremely proud of some of your shots and despise others that you’ve posted and thought were great at the time.
These two photos are from when I was in university, taken in November 2017, but re-edited today. @ Maastricht, Netherlands

As we wind down 2018, a mix of my favourite shots and most special memories of the year.

Needless to say, my passion for cars is intertwined with a lot of them but certainly a big year beyond that: I feel closer to my friends than ever, I’ve taken steps professionally by graduating university and moving to Berlin and my love for photography and sharing my photos has grown even bigger.
It’s a seemingly small group that follows my work on here but I appreciate each and every one of you, whether I know you personally or not, and hope we can keep that going in the new year. You motivate me tremendously to get out there and improve.

My favourite shot so far with the 70-200mm so far, absolutely loving how well this lens isolates your subject and captures detail.

I love the level of detail the 70-200mm lets me capture, this is steam coming from a pot of tea with lights from the christmas market in the background.
