In 2011, I got my first camera. At the time, I had no idea that one simple decision would end up shaping so much of my life. What started as taking photos here and there slowly grew into a business, but photography became so much more than that. It helped me grow into the person I am today. It taught me confidence, discipline, and a deeper appreciation for the natural world.
There are no words that can truly describe what photography has meant to me. My life would've been very different for sure if I had never picked up a camera. There are no wise words here. No secret formula on how to become the best or how to make the most money. All I ever did was enjoy capturing people's stories. My curiosity about their stories, the stories of their horses, and the joy they feel when receiving their photos have always been the driving force behind my work.
And then came the Equine Legacy Project. The opportunity to create something meaningful that will remain long after we're gone feels like one of the greatest privileges photography has given me. This mission is the culmination of my life's work and I'd be grateful for your support. Link in bio!
Looking back through these images, I can see my style slowly taking shape and becoming recognizable around 2017. It hasn't changed much since then. But I have. Now, with a Master's degree in my pocket, who knows what the future holds? One thing is for sure: whatever comes next, I'll approach it with the same joy as I've always done, and take care of the loved ones around me. Because, at the end of the day, that's what life is all about.
