Everyday I am still surprised about how the book turned out. When you have the vision in your head for so long, and have been working on it digitally for so long, it's impossible to predict how the final product looks and feels like in your hands. But I am genuinely so happy with the quality. It's big, heavy, and the paper is beyond what I expected.

A post that is long overdue. In april of 2023 I had the honor to travel all the way to Namibia to teach 9 others the Art of photography. Namibia has won my heart for sure, especially where I spend 5 weeks in the peace of the horses surrounded by Namibian wilderness.

I poured all my time and energy in producing the that I never got around to edit the photos I took in Namibia, but last week I just needed to edit photos again that would take me back to that peace.

Today is 11-11, marking my 26th lap around the world. Many lessons have been taught this year, one of the biggest being that it is okay to let go of things. Photography has been a passion for the greater part of my life and in September I announced I was quitting. Mainly due to the fact I'm starting with my Masters degree. And life's been busy. So for today, I just wanted to share this photo, which was already taken 7 years ago. It is part of a session that is still one of my favorites and was taken during an organized trip with my good friend Giulia. Combining photography with traveling was always my biggest dream. And I was able to do that with the . The book is finished and is now at the printing house and I hope it will be in your hands by December!

Sharing her fathers’ passion for the Marwari horse, Mallyka Singh Dundlod welcomed us in Rajasthan to document the Marwaris. In 2019, she founded her own venture to introduce people to the culture, traditions, and heritage of the Shekhawati region, creating meaningful experiences with the Marwari horses and the local community.

Not only can you read about the Marwari, but also hear about being a horse woman in India which is a little unique, especially in a male dominated field. I'm quitting photography.

This means, starting September, I won't be doing client photography sessions anymore. I have been thinking about this for quite some time now and after 14 years of photography it is time to do something else.

The hundreds of clients throughout the years, the beautiful secluded places I have visited and the lifelong memories I got to capture, are some of the most beautiful things in life and I'm happy to have been able to be of service.

Once ELP is wrapped up (October or so), I will be selling my gear. And I think that would be a beautiful way to end this chapter. Plus, in september I will finally continue with my master's degree at TUDelft so I'll focus on that and focus on getting the word out for my book (which you can still preorder, link in bio).

It may sound dramatic but I can always go back to photography whenever. And (ELP) is still my whole existence right now so you'll see me around.

So that's the plan for now, finish ELP to the best of my abilities, with fun and a whole lot of passion. This project is one of the most fulfilling and special things I've ever done. And I can't express how happy all the experiences make me. So please follow us along the journey on
