في ذكرى مجزرة #الكيماوي .. #السوريين في #هولندا يقيمون معرضا ونشاط فني تضامني في مدينة #اوترخت:

احيت اللجنة #السورية بالتعاون مع الشباب #السوري في اوربا في 17 من شهر آب ذكرى مجزرة الكيماوي التي راح ضحيتها 1400 مدني جلهم من من الأطفال والنساء. ويصادف هذا اليوم مرور عام على انطلاق الحراك في مدينة #السويداء رفضاً لاستمرار اجرام نظام #الأسد بحق السوريين ومطالبين بتطبيق القرارات الدولية المتعلقة بسوريا، لذلك نقف أيضا في هذا اليوم متضامنين مع حراك أهلنا في مدينة السويداء.
وبما أن التذكر هو أحد أوجه النضال ومقاومة الإنكار، وبما أن للفن القدرة على قول ما تعجز الكلمات عن التعبير عنه، فإن حملة ”لا تخنقوا الحقيقة“ بالتعاون مع الحملة السورية تم اقامة معرض ”نتذكر، نقاوم“ في أوتريخت، ضمن فعالية إحياء ذكرى مجازر الغوطة الكيماوية. ضم المعرض صوراً لـ 11 عملاً فنياً رسمها فنانون وفنانات سوريون تخليداً لذكرى الضحايا، وتذكيراً بالعدالة لهؤلاء الضحايا وعائلاتهم من خلال محاسبة النظام السوري وحلفائه، رافق الوقفة موسيقى على العود و أغاني من وحي المناسبة شارك بها عدد من السوريين والاصدقاء الهولنديين.

On August 17, the Syrian Committee, in cooperation with Syrian youth in Europe, commemorated the chemical massacre that claimed the lives of 1,400 civilians, most of whom were children and women. This day marks one year since the start of the movement in the city of Sweida, rejecting the continuation of the Assad regime's crimes against the Syrians and demanding the implementation of international resolutions related to Syria. Therefore, we also stand on this day in solidarity with the movement of our people in the city of Sweida.
Since remembrance is one of the aspects of struggle and resistance to denial, and since art has the ability to say what words cannot express, the "Don't Suffocate the Truth" campaign, in cooperation with the Syrian campaign, held the "We Remember, We Resist" exhibition in Utrecht, as part of the event commemorating the Ghouta chemical massacres. The exhibition included pictures of 11 artworks drawn by Syrian artists, both male and female, to commemorate the victims and to remind them of justice for these victims and their families by holding the Syrian regime and its allies accountable. The vigil was accompanied by oud music and songs inspired by the occasion, in which a number of Syrians and Dutch friends participated.
