Storytime! Last year I moved to the Netherlands and decided to start building a photography portfolio of which I would be proud of. 🙌🏼

Not even a month after, I came across an Instagram profile of a bakery in the town close by, .enkhuizen, and its lovely owner Laetitia. 🥰

Laetitia and | exchanged few messages on Instagram and decided we want to do a photoshoot together.
We shared ideas and goals of the photoshoot together and I prepared a mood board. 👀
I wanted to show her process of creating, from the raw ingredients all to the last finish up touches of her process ✨
Few weeks back, we met up, decorated some cupcakes 🧁, ate some great nachos and most importantly, had a lot of fun!

What is the first step in photography?
Building a portfolio you are proud of and that represents what your niche 👀

I want to work with businesses and brands all sizes, and put the vision behind their products into photography.
I want to show THEM, all of their process, and all of their hard work and talent ✨

Photography reminders for everyone including myself!
1. Not every idea in the head looks the same (and good) on camera, it is ok to let go.
2. Not every photo is worth of a final selection. Better to end up with 3 good ones at the end, than 10 you are not satisfied with.
3. There is a point during editing when you should say stop and again, let it go 😛
