It's been a while. Last year was incredibly challenging, and we're still navigating the loss of my mother. To honor her memory, Et, my family, and I embarked on a journey from Namibia to South Africa. These photos from Namibia capture some of the breathtaking moments we shared. ♥️🇳🇦

I'll never forget our chance encounter at the airport before boarding our flight to South Africa. As we traveled to South Africa to be with my mother not doing well, we struck up a conversation. Seeing that Louise was expecting, I offered my business card, hoping to capture her pregnancy journey and the arrival of her little one. I didn't expect much to come of it, given the circumstances.

To my delight, Louise reached out to book a maternity session, followed by a newborn shoot for precious Jaen-Luke. We're now planning a family session in early December. One of the most rewarding aspects of photography is forming these connections and being part of life's special moments. I feel truly blessed to have been chosen to document these precious memories. 📷❤
