Balance between Death and Life

Spring is the time when nature gets awake, unfortunately not this tree. It has been burned by a wildfire that has destroyed this field the past summer. It made up for a good subject, portraying the balance (or imbalance) between life and death.

Shot during a morning filled with fog. It gave this tree and it's surroundings that little bit extra, making it look even more majestic.

Vandaag heb ik gewerkt op de ZieZo beurs. Dit is de beurs voor blinden en slechtzienden. Het was een mooie ervaring om hier een bijdrage aan te mogen leveren.

Het FotoFestival Naarden nodigt professionele fotografen uit werk in te sturen voor de komende editie. Zij kunnen daarbij aansluiting zoeken bij het centrale thema (fotofestivalnaarden.nl/festival/thema). Ook studenten aan de fotografie-opleidingen en -academies kunnen werk inzenden.

Onderstaande foto is van Saskia Boelsums, zij stuurde twee jaar geleden werk in en werd geselecteerd. Dit jaar exposeert zij opnieuw tijdens het FotoFestival Naarden.
