I love natural light…soft, subtle, full of magic. Yet I’m also fascinated by studio work, where you can shape light exactly how you want. Light sets the mood, tells a story, and creates effects that aren’t always possible outdoors. Just a few centimeters in the position of the light – and the same scene tells a completely different story.

I hope you’ll forgive me for this public digging into the archives, but seriously… this portrait turned out PHENOMENAL.

Another one of many portraits of my youngest sister ❤️
This one is already a few years old… but you know, some photos never age.
She’s always been my little “artistic victim” 😅
“Stand here.”
“One more.”
“Wait, the light!”
And she patiently went along with all my ideas.
Looking at this photo, I don’t just see a face. I see us. The time we’ve shared, the laughter, the late-night talks.
It’s so nice to have a sister who lets you take hundreds of photos and still loves you anyway 😉❤️

12 years ago.
The cheapest DSLR in my hands and little Milenka in front of the lens.
It was a shift. A real moment of “okay… I’m stepping up to the next level.”
Not everything was perfect. The light had its own ideas, and so did the settings 😅
But there was awareness. And there was a decision — I’m taking this seriously.
Today, when I look at these photos, I don’t see only Milenka.
I see myself — a little braver, already experimenting with graphic design, but not fully confident yet.
And that’s the beauty of growth.
