We spent a truly special weekend at Retreat Guest Farm in Piket-Bo-berg. Surrounded by dramatic rock formations, ancient rock art, and wide open nature, it felt like stepping into another world. Time on the lake between the rocks felt grounding and unforgettable, especially knowing a Cape leopard had been spotted in the same area just the week before.
It was the perfect autumn getaway! Golden light, crisp air, and a cottage that felt like a warm retreat in itself. Fully equipped, thoughtfully prepared, with plenty of wood for the indoor fireplace and outdoor firepit. Evenings by the fire, complete stillness, and that deep rest you only find far from everything. A full moon lit up the entire landscape, making it even more magical. 🌕✨
