This olive green backdrop used to belong to a retired photographer. Now it holds a new story.
And in that same story, a weathered leather chair found its place too. Echoing the warmth of the model’s hair so precisely it felt intentional, like the set was collaborating. I love playing with color so much!

This is was the moment that encouraged me to experiment with off camera flash more. Coming from calling myself a natural light photographer for years, that has been quite a pivot. The ability to shape the light the way you want it to, to play around with it, no matter what kind of weather it is…
I wouldn’t want it any other way. ✨

I love playing with contrast.

Soft tones. Strong presence.
Both masculine and soft energy, styled in a way that feels a little unexpected.

A pink suit against an olive-toned backdrop. Not the obvious choice, which is exactly why it works.

This shoot came together through a client with a clear vision, who brought the right people into the room.
And you can feel that.

Because when everyone shows up with intention, it’s not just about the images anymore. It’s about the energy on set, the details, the in-between moments.
