Not every mural needs the perfect setting to make an impact...
This piece by Dutch duo TELMO MIEL stayed with me long after I left Hasselt. Their signature blend of photorealism and surrealism creates a scene that feels both calm and dreamlike 💭
The title comes from a simple conversation between Miel and his mother:
"Drive safe"
"Think of me"
A few words that quietly capture care, distance and the journeys we all make.
Originally created for SAGA in 2023, the mural had to be repainted entirely with spray paint after the first version couldn't survive weeks of relentless rain ⛈️
