My stay at the Sengyu Gaden Phodrang Monastery

Last november I spent four weeks at the monastery in Kathmandu. I gave teacher's trainings and was impressed by the work they do to raise young monks as most of
the young monks are basically uneducated in any form. Especially since the earthquake and worsening economic conditions the monastery has to function as a
'children's home'. Whereas 3 years ago they had under 20 tender aged children,they are now caring for more than 60. Sponsoring is always welcome and it would allow the monastery to improve health, nutrition, education and accomodation.
Your generosity will not only help the monastery to meet with their current needs, but will enable them to expand the monastery with the ability to accept
more young monks and continue to grow. If you have questions or if you are
