Photo styling.
The way you put your picture together in a way that attracts the spectator.
A static picture of just some things, put together or a model standing on a log in her bikini with an ax doesn't give something very interesting.
Everything has to make a reference to one another. And although the ax and the log make a connection; the model in the bikini with it looks rather dumb. Or a picture of a corkscrew and a bottle with a screw cap also have rather little in common with each other.
Be creative and try to make a link between objects and people to make it connect. Create a "hyphen" between things that don't match to make them match.
Play with light. Light is the simplest thing you can use to create a link between things and people. Shadows and highlights, accentuation of seemingly unimportant things that suddenly become essential. And try to awaken an emotion. An emotion that will provide the essential effect with the spectator, looking at your creation.
That is CREATIVITY!! Some of us have it by birth and some of us have to be educated to learn how to develop this precious ability that makes you an artist. Styling to attract your public with your specific way of creating has to become an autograph. Recognizable art. Putting things together with no reference what so ever will never be more then 'just' a picture.
