My brother came to visit me here in the Netherlands, and of course, I couldn’t let him leave without stepping in front of my camera. 📸

Black and white portraits have a special way of revealing personality, emotion, and authenticity. No distractions, just the person exactly as they are.

Some photos are beautiful.
Some moments are unforgettable.
And today… I had the honor of capturing both.

A few days ago, this sweet man called Roy contacted me with a secret plan.
He wanted to surprise the love of his life (Maayan) with a proposal, and asked if I could help make the moment extra special.

So we planned everything quietly behind the scenes.
I walked up to them casually and asked if they would like a photo together. While I distracted her for just a second… he turned her attention back to him… and then suddenly, he was down on one knee.

The emotion, the surprise, the love in that moment… it was truly magical.
And being trusted to capture such a personal memory honestly touched my heart.

These are the moments that remind me why I love photography so much.
Not just creating beautiful images, but freezing real emotions and life-changing memories forever. 🤍

Avigail came to me for her photoshoot…
