My art documentation of the sound immersive installation by during 2025

‘𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘭𝘰𝘸 𝘴𝘭𝘰𝘸 𝘣𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘯’ a soft landing on earth. An acoustic immersive installation wherein the audience is invited one by one to lay down on an inflatable beneath a tree. Moving up and down, feeling your own body, slowing down and sensing gravity. This movement makes two large ceramic flutes breath out, sounding long low slow tones. The low-tuned flutes create slow beatings which deform our perception of all sounds around. When you land on the ground the flutes stop sounding and you start hearing the remaining ‘silence’, the sound of the surroundings.

With my camera in hand, I joined the audio tour on September 30th, marking the closing gathering of the Loom residency. We walked along with Leaky Turns, Stories from Amsterdam’s Waterlands and got a deeper glimpse into the research and reflections developed over the past year.

Punk princesses bringing together the holy, the untouched, and the wild into an anthem of rebellion. Happened throughout .art week, the fictional band of AnnaMaria Pinaka performed their raw songs, questioning the universalized idea (l)s of girlhood.

I love tea and that was awesome to capture a very special experience that .and.salt created for a group of 32 amazing people.
Sensory Echoes was a two-day journey to awaken the senses - gently, slowly, with care. The first day was all about smell and taste, explored in a quiet and delicate way.
We began with a tea ceremony. Not just about drinking tea, but about feeling it — the warmth of the cup, the scent of the leaves, the soft taste and the feeling it leaves behind.
It’s beautiful how the right tea, made with attention, can open up a whole world. A world of presence, calm, and connection. Thanks to Gerhard - a tea master for more than 15 years, who was our guide to this beautiful world of tea!

Photography for .and.salt that created a very special experience this summer — a living celebration for the community. One single invitation guided the night: be present. Here, now.
The villa became a house of time.
In the Past, shadows and stories we no longer wished to carry were released (and burned!).
In the Future, visions shimmered - fragile, daring, almost within reach — a place to make a wish and dream big.
And in the Present, the heart of the night beat wild and unpredictable, shifting with every glance, every breath — the very fabric of life itself.
Music, conversations, laughter, and the rare beauty of the present moment.
We left with lighter hearts, softer steps, and a deeper intimacy with the beauty of now.

Photo documentation (selection) of the exhibition Bitter Harvest at

Bitter Harvest explores the hidden history of slavery and resistance through a unique diorama of a Surinamese coffee plantation. Created by Gerrit Schouten in 1823, it depicts what appears to be an orderly and prosperous plantation, but that hides a harsh reality: the lives and struggles of more than 140 enslaved people. Drawing on historic documents, artworks and the stories of descendants, Bitter Harvesttraces this history and its lasting impact on the present.
