Visited Eagletown again but also paid Mildenhall a little visit last week Nov.20 and 21. Hoped for burner friday (morning) but that did'nt go well because of the low cloud ceiling that suddenly appeared...so that party went to the afternoon that same day. (Unfortunately) we moved to the viewing area at RW23 so we saw the Eagles climbing insane at the end of the runway how it should be. This F-15C of the 493rd FS fom Lakenheath left as the very last Eagle from Soesterberg Air Base on November 12, 2008, shortly before the closure of the cradle as an active air base.
